Michael Bederman ( Spotlight), Bruce Berman ( Training Day), Richard Brener ( The Butterfly Effect), Peter Cron ( The Circle), Michael Disco ( Rampage), Toby Emmerich ( Frequency), Steven Mnuchin ( Mad Max: Fury Road) and Ankur Rungta ( True Memoirs of an International Assassin) served as executive producers. The movie was directed by David Frankel ( The Devil Wears Prada), while Allan Loeb ( The Space Between Us) wrote the screenplay. In addition to Smith and Winslet, Collateral Beauty features an all-star cast, including Edward Norton (Whit Yardsham), Keira Knightley (Amy Moore/“Love”), Michael Peña (Simon Scott), Naomie Harris (Madeleine), Jacob Latimore (Raffi /“Time”), Helen Mirren (Brigitte /“Death”), Ann Dowd (Sally Price), Mary Beth Peil (Mrs. Christina Wolfe as Kate (L) and Leighton Meester as Beth (R) in 'The Weekend Away.' The movie premieres Thursday, March 3 on Netflix worldwide. 'Kate’s a truth teller' says Jennifer Lawrence. The official description reads, “An advertising executive wrestling with grief finds meaning by writing letters to unconventional recipients as caring colleagues plot a ruse.” Jennifer Lawrence, best known for X-Men, American Hustle and The Hunger Games, plays an astronomy grad student Kate Dibiasky in her first major movie since 2019’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Can their stories teach Howard the true meaning of loss? In an attempt to reconnect with himself-and the universe-he begins writing personal letters to Love, Time and Death, which results in multiple responses. The first look photos were first published by Entertainment Weekly. So, what is Collateral Beauty about? Meet Howard (Smith), a successful ad exec who withdraws from his friends (including Winslet) following a life-changing tragedy. Slipped a fatal poison on her final job, a ruthless assassin working in Tokyo has less than 24 hours to find. The movie will be released globally in Fall 2021 with an official Netflix release date yet to be revealed.
